Our Advice Service

Bucks Enterprise Agency offers one-to-one advice sessions for business start-ups and for trading businesses.   These are held in both High Wycombe and Aylesbury.  If you need to have your appointment elsewhere in Bucks, we will do our best to arrange that for you.  

Pre-start businesses

The support for your business idea or innovation begins well before you are ready to start your business and continues until your business is firmly established and, if you wish, beyond that point. The service is free and confidential and the agenda is of your choosing.

Some people use the session as a sounding board for their ideas whilst others want help with specific aspects such as premises, pricing or whether to set up as a sole trader, partnership or limited company. Whatever your requirements, we are here to help. Preparing a business plan for presentation to a bank is the most common area in which we help pre-start businesses.

Trading businesses

Whether or not you had help from Bucks Enterprise to get your business started, we can help you keep it going, helping to increase profits and to ensure its sustainability.  You may have cashflow issues, be looking for additional funding, want to know more about exporting or just be drowning in red tape.  Perhaps your marketing plan is wrong, or you don't have one!  Whatever your issues, we're happy to help you see the wood for the trees and work with you on an Action Plan to get you back on track and to maximise your opportunities.  All of your sessions with Bucks Enterprise are FREE - we find it hard to offer a better deal than that!

Follow-on meetings

Once you've had your advice session, that need not be the end of the story.  We're always happy to book you another session to address any points in the Action Plan you've been unable to accomplish and to look at what steps you can now take to further benefit your business.  You can have unlimited sessions with your adviser (free for pre-starts), so long as it is agreed that you are continuing to benefit from the sessions.
